A Husband Of Noble Character

A husband of noble character who can find?
He is worth far more than sapphires.
s
His wife has full confidence in him
and lacks nothing of value.
s
He brings her good, not harm,
all the days of his life.
s
He plans for his family
and works with eager hands.
s
He is like the merchant ships,
bringing him resources the family needs.
s
He gets up while it is still dark;
he provides means for his family
and quantities for his less well-off associates; for everyone in his sight.
s
He considers investments and buys them;
out of his earnings he provides for the future.
s
He gets into his work dynamically;
his arms are capable for all his tasks.
s
He sees that his trading is profitable,
and his lamp burns into the night.
s
In his hand he holds his plans
and he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty.
s
He opens his arms to the poor with compassion
and extends his hands to the needy.
s
When winter sets in, he has no fear for his family;
for each one of them is ably provided for.
s
He helps out around the house, doing the dishes and ironing;
he is well prepared for work.
s
His wife is admired when she walks in town,
where she takes her place within the community.
s
He serves in other capacities and loves to learn,
supplying things of value to those he mixes with.
s
He is clothed with resilience and integrity;
he can smile confidently at the days to come.
s
He speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on his tongue.
s
He watches over the affairs of his family
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
s
His children arise and thank God for him;
his wife also, and she praises him:
s
"Many men are noble from time to time,
but you're consistently gracious, surpassing them all."
s
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a man who fears the LORD is to be praised.
s
Give him the reward he's earned,
and let his deeds bring him praise within the community.
